Eating meat and dairy more harmful to environment than driving a car

Animal rights activists and many environmentalists have been saying this all along. Now Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations has published a report saying "Livestock are one of the most significant contributors to today’s most serious environmental problems. Urgent action is required to remedy the situation.” Click here for more information. Meat and dairy industry, which provides livelihood to millions of people all over the world, needs to take immediate measures to stop further degradation. On the other hand, meat and dairy consumers need to be aware of alternative healthy food options. A plant based diet can satisfy all your nutrition needs with its mouth watering tastes and rich flavors. If you don't believe me, check out these blogs from people who had been cooking it for years:

hi Sangeeta!
Thanks for posting this information. I think it can be hard for people to accept that their food choices contribute to environmental crappiness, because it seems harder to people to eat tasty non-animal products than to recycle.
There has been some information in the Indy Weekly lately I notice about this, particularly hog farms.
Talk to you soon I hope.
